Ben Wright

Ben Wright is the Briscoe Center’s Associate Director for Communication. His work at the center focuses on media relations, historical research and writing, and curation projects such as the Jefferson Davis statue exhibit and producing the podcast American Rhapsody.  He is also pursuing a Ph.D. in History at the University of Texas at Austin that hones in on Texas during World War I. Previously he worked as a journalist and press secretary at the Texas state capitol. Originally from England, he has been in Texas since 2003.
