Gregory Rulifson

Gregory Rulifson is a civil engineer who serves as the Director and Professor of Humanitarian Engineering at the Walker Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. Previously, he worked as the Senior Humanitarian Sustainability Advisor in the Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). He has worked on projects in Nicaragua, Indonesia, and Djibouti and advised on dozens of other disaster risk reduction and community development projects around the world.
