{"id":2765,"date":"2022-02-09T15:02:16","date_gmt":"2022-02-09T21:02:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/podcasts.la.utexas.edu\/this-is-democracy\/?post_type=speaker&#038;p=2765"},"modified":"2022-02-09T15:02:29","modified_gmt":"2022-02-09T21:02:29","slug":"jason-flowers","status":"publish","type":"speaker","link":"https:\/\/podcasts.la.utexas.edu\/this-is-democracy\/speaker\/jason-flowers\/","title":{"rendered":"Jason Flowers"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Jason Flowers is entering his seventeenth year teaching AP US History at the Liberal Arts and Science Academy in Austin. \u00a0In addition to APUSH, Mr. Flowers teaches American Film and coaches Quiz Bowl and History Bowl. \u00a0He is originally from South Louisiana and has a B.A. in history from LSU along with a master\u2019s degree in social studies education from North Texas. \u00a0Mr. Flowers is also the head coach and team leader for Team USA for the International Geography Olympiad and serves on the board of directors of the National Consortium of Specialized STEM Schools.
