Michael Hanson has served as an Assistant Athletic Performance Coach at The University of Texas since February of 2018, working with Men’s and Women’s Track and Field and Rowing.
Prior to Texas, Hanson interned at the University of Minnesota, the University of Michigan, and the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, California, having the privilege of coaching All-Americans, world champions, and Olympic medalists.
While earning his M.Ed. at the University of Minnesota, Hanson coached professional and collegiate hockey players in the greater Twin Cities area.
Coach Hanson graduated from Century High School in Rochester, Minnesota.
