Professor Matthew Yankowitz holds the title of WRF (Washington Research Foundation) Innovation Associate Professor in Clean Energy working within the Department of Physics and the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Washington. His work is within the field of condensed matter and his research is conducted at The Yankowitz Lab, an experimental condensed matter physics laboratory investigating quantum materials and pioneering the control of novel electronic states in these materials.
