He is editor-at-large for Jewish Currents, a CNN political commentator, and a fellow at the Foundation for Middle East Peace. He is also a nonfiction author and former Rhodes Scholar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His first book, \u201cThe Good Fight,\u201d was published by HarperCollins in 2006. His second book, \u201cThe Icarus Syndrome,\u201d was published by HarperCollins in 2010. His third, \u201cThe Crisis of Zionism,\u201d was published by Times Books in 2012.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beinart has written for The Atlantic, The Wall Street Journal, The New Republic, the Financial Times, the Boston Globe, Newsweek, Slate, The Forward, Reader\u2019s Digest, Die Zeit, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, and Polity: the Journal of the Northeastern Political Science Studies Association. The Week magazine named him columnist of the year for 2004. In 2005, he gave the Theodore H. White lecture at Harvard\u2019s Kennedy School of Government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He has appeared on \u201cThis Week with George Stephanopoulos,\u201d \u201cCharlie Rose,\u201d \u201cMeet the Press,\u201d \u201cThe Colbert Report\u201d and many other television programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beinart graduated from Yale University, winning a Rhodes scholarship for graduate study at Oxford University. After graduating from University College, Oxford, Beinart became The New Republic\u2019s managing editor in 1995.
