Effective September 2021, I am Professor of English at The University of Texas at Austin and hold affiliations with American Studies, Center for Women’s and Gender Studies, and Rapoport Center for Human Rights & Justice. My areas of research and teaching include late 20th- to 21st-century US fiction, environmental humanities, medical humanities, science & technology studies, reproduction and climate, affect theory, and cultural studies of information. I’m currently the Graduate Advisor (aka Director of Graduate Studies) for English.
