Episode 1 – How to Talk to Children and Teens About Racism: Tools for Pediatricians and Families

In this episode we consider how to talk about race and racism with our patients, and identify tools we can use in the office and share with our families. We welcome UT Austin Faculty, Dr. Germine Gigi Awad and Dr. Kevin Cokely, to share their personal experiences and professional expertise as parents, educators and leaders. Our discussion spans the ages from preschool to adolescence, and listeners will come away with practical tips and strategies, as well as resources to explore.
