Galvan-Turner, MD, is a fellowship-trained gynecologic oncologist in both&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/partnersincare.health\/womens-health\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Women\u2019s Health<\/a>, a clinical partnership between Ascension Seton and UT Health Austin, and UT Health Austin\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/uthealthaustin.org\/clinics\/cancer\">Livestrong Cancer Institutes<\/a>. She is also a part of both UT Health Austin\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/uthealthaustin.org\/clinics\/services\/hereditary-cancer-screening-and-risk-reduction\">Hereditary Cancer Screening and Risk Reduction<\/a>&nbsp;care team and UT Health Austin\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/uthealthaustin.org\/clinics\/cancer\/calm-care-team\">CaLM Care Team<\/a>. Additionally, Dr. Galvan-Turner is an assistant professor in both the Dell Medical School Department of Women\u2019s Health and the Dell Medical School Department of Oncology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Galvan-Turner earned her medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and her bachelor\u2019s in biology from The University of Texas at Austin. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the University of California, Irvine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Galvan-Turner also provides gynecologic oncology services through the Ascension Seton Specialty Care Center.
