Angela Luna, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker in UT Health Austin’s Livestrong Cancer Institutes. She is also a part of UT Health Austin’s Integrated Behavioral Health team. With over 10 years of experience in medical social work, with a focus in oncology, she specializes in supporting patients and their loved ones as they cope with a diagnosis of cancer and the many ways in which it impacts their daily lives.
Angela Luna earned her master’s in social work from New York University and her bachelor’s in women’s and gender studies from Bernard College. She completed a fellowship in palliative and end-of-life care through the New York University Silver School of Social Work Zelda Foster Studies Program.
